more headlight stuff

before flamage...i searched found stuff but the topic is changed so much in the threads that it is too confusing...

so i have an 05 non-HID evo and i want to get the mr housings...now u guys know that my car does not have the fog lights in the innermost spot of the housing. now i kow i can get a aftermarket HID kit and it will be fine, but what do i do with the fog light housing, any suggestions

For fog light housing, you can just plug it up with bulb and not have it working at all. Or you can try to wire it so that your Fog will work.

Well this is one of my own idea and I don't know if it's going to work. I was thinking about getting an HID kit. Not a plug and play one, but one that requires a switch. Then use it for the Fog. That's just a thought.

so since some evos dont come with fog lights, such as mine, can u just buy 2 HID kits put one in the normal headlight spot and one where the fog lights are supposed to be and splice them together to have both turn on at the same time when u flip the switch for the normal lights

Thats an idea.Im not too good with wirining but could you get a wire harness from an evo that came with HID's and use that?

interesting idea with the hid kit in the fog light positions. that would look pretty sweet i bet as well.

on another not i was not awear that some evos did not come with factory hid's
hmmm

Well you could always get the OEM swtich for the foglights as well.

Someone should ask EvoDave about this idea. Or you can just trade in your non-HID headlights for HID ones.
