downpipe question

downpipe question

when installing a dp do you need to keep those spring loaded bolts or regular bolts with the same thread pattern will do with out the springs? fyi, my dp has the flex pipe on it.

Yeah, but the stock spring bolts could not reach the dump pipe. so i had extra ones that came with the whole exhuast sytem. they were long enough to go through the flange and reach the dump pipe to bolt right on up.

If you have the metal flex joint in the downpipe then you can afford to eliminate the flex afforded by the spring bolts
