Remembering my Evo (Caution: Large Pics)

This is old news, but I haven't had the time to really post anything until now. I wrecked my Evo back in February. It had just started to snow and prior to that, it had been raining. I was driving to an event at my old school and thought that the roads were pretty well salted, a fatal mistake. I was only doing maybe 20 or 25 when I hit a patch of black ice and lost control of the car. It ended up hitting a tree on the side of the road. Eventually, cop came by and was convinced that I had to be doing at least 60, even though if that were true, I wouldn't have made it so far into the reservation and I would have probably ended up in the hospital. As they started to load the car onto a flatbed, a salt truck came by and began to salt the road. Supposedly, there were tons of accidents that day, so salting roads would be a good idea, but it would have been much better before the snow. Anyway, insurance totaled it for frame damage, and now these pictures are all I have. I am hoping to get another Evo in the months to come, but it will probably be a IX.

if you had a front crash bar you were doing more then 25mph.

if you did not have your crash bar then the 25mph you claimed could be true
