I went from a 2003 G35 Coupe w/ similar mods.The EVO out handles and out performs the G35.The only thing I really miss about the G35 is the navi and bose sound system.Other than that I wish I bought an EVO sooner!

 

Yea never was really into modding any car but realizing how cheap it is to make reliable power I went from stock to tbe, drop in filter, and a tune and couldnt be happier

Had both. Owned an 06' 350z stock and an 06' Evo stock. By no comparison the Evo is hands down the better car. Handling, acceleration and comfort, yup I said comfort the Evo wins. However I must admit I traded the Evo for an 06' G35 6mt last month . I now regret it. Go with the Evo you will be satisfied! Evo X here I come!

 

Had a Z myself but only for about 5 months. I tried to tell myself to get away from the 4 door rally look. Didnt get me anywhere. Had the Evo 9 for a year now. Best decision ever!!

 

I just went from an 03' Touring 350z to a 05' Evo VIII SSL. I miss my Z alot especially the beautiful exhaust note and how amazing it looked. But out of necessity, living in CO, I had to switch to a more practical car. The evo is alot of fun to drive and cheaper to mod. Beware of the stealerships! Most of them are DBags. !

I agree with everyone else. go test drive one first, and see how you like the handling. I was actually dead-set on getting a Z since '04, and never even considered an evo. there's something about that car that just sucks you in. it's definitely the better choice (i went with the evo, obviously). you won't regret coming to the dark side lol

 

heres what i think, its not very fair to compare any car to an evo/sti... more evo for many reasons but we discuss that somewhere else. Dollar for dollar no other car can get as much performance as an evo. also factor in 4 cyl so good cruising mileage + 4 doors and seats with power locks and windows. nothing can come even close i mean you might say b5 s4 (2000-2002 s4) yeah i had one... so not mod friendly, their expensive and add very to little hp (Except chip) coolant is $28 a gallon from dealership? come on i mean yeah its a dealership but $28? thats an oil change and coolant flush for a japanese car lol well the bottom line is evo owns hands down.

560s + 16g + stiff *** chassis from factory? im sold

oh yeah widebody accents are super ****ing (mispelled purposly) hot.
