Today this Evo7 (Stock Turbo and Tuned) was able to run head to head with a GT2 Porsche and came in second place after it.. (other cars were a 500bhp GT30 STI, GT3, GT3RS Porsches, Evo6's, S2000's, TypeR, etc..)

The Evo came in second place with less than half a second difference while the Subie overheated and the others were far back..

The funny fact is that this Evo didnt have a fourth gear *bad synchros* and the driver was running all the race 1st, 2nd, 3rd and fifth gears!

The power is 380bhp claimed but i doubt this can be achieved with a stock everything.. SO i recogn something like 330bhp..

I think the tires are RE888's slicks..

 

Why do you say stock everything? it looks modded to me.

 

I see an after market IC, w/IC piping, Radiator, Intake...probably cams at the very least???

 

That car belongs to a guy called Steve. It's an Evo 7, and it's not stock. Driver is an ex-national karting champion from Australia and a very nice guy too.

But yes, that is a stock turbo (9.8T)

You call: radiator, IC piping and intercooler real 'power mods'? Maybe i should've mentioned the stickers are not stock and the engine cover is painted yellow! :-)

The car is stock as much as it's limited with the stock turbo, it's what i said it's doing some 360hp probably and that's as much as it can do with that (at least in dubai)..

The off track areas must not be very deep... that tow hook would do absolutly no good at Miller Motorsports park...

Stock turbo doesn't mean stock car, not by a long way. When 100WHP is a few bolt ons away, stock turbo is meaningless.
