well, im army and in the SF world ... so i can hold my own .... but it sure is nice to have the marines on your side. I didnt take offense to your recommendation either, if i had not just pieced together my setup as well as the research for the 3 others we are in the process of building right now, AMS or ETS would be the first place id send them... strike that, AFI, then ETS and AMS .... which we could still end up doing the AFI setup. It just matters when you have the money, because they are raising prices soon unless we can beat them to the finish line .... All depends on what you want in the end. We can talk sunday ... im sure i can give out a few rides ... just have to find somewhere safe, and without the po po

I respect the Army too my uncle is retired US Army. What kinda setup did you choose for you and what 3 are you still piecing if you dont mind me asking. There are tons of way to get to 400whp like he said he wanted. You can give rides here in OKC just watch out for cows and inbreds!

i went with something like this

The turbo is a custom precision monster... Mani is a full race non xs power copy

We are building a 35 setup for one guy, but it is basically AFI's setup with a few of our added goodies, and then we are custom building a 30 setup with another specialized turbo and then we are building a topmount 35 or 37 setup in another one... just waiting to get his head back from jackson auto machine before we start piecing

thats the beauty of things, at most you'd have to change turbo and injectors, normally the manifold and the rest swaps over pretty easy if you shop right

I think you and bigric09 need to come up with a 35r setup bc you keep saying you dont wanna be maxed out. With a 35r and a good tune youll be set and far from "maxed out".

well, this is my first turbo-car i have messed with, first thing really outside of a slew of hondas and a 95 TA (RIP). Im still learning and the knowloedge that I do have is pretty slim. I am not trying to build a track monster by any means, I dont need some crazy "street car"or anything. I just really wanna be in that comfortable "niche" between 4 and 500whp, very balanced and clean. Once I get a new car, and this is no longer my "DD", then MAYBE ill gofurther into it...I dont see myself needing to have anything bigger than a 30r or 35r, and dont need something that goes to the track every now and then and blows the doors off everything...its not my idea for this car. I dunno...im such a NEWB...Jason, we need to talk this week lol...Im stressin

ETS FMIC with all the piping (short route with mini) works awesome. saw gains almost immediately after the install. really cheap product that works. you can get the whole setup and intake for abot 1k................

but yeah just take a ride in bigrics ride..........it will drive ya insane. i rode in it when he had the 20g and it was crazy i can only imagine with the 35................speed safely
