exactly my point. you live in NYC and obviously you are young or poor record or both. it does not seem like the right time for you to get in over your head with an expensive car. just looking out bro.

Ways to lower your insurance...

1. Move.
2. Continue to have a clean driving record.
3. Get older.

i am 22, in my begining years driving i totaled 3 cars and many bad tickets. I fought hard in court and it paid off. full coverage for my evo is only 94 bucks a month. granted (knock on wood) i havent had a ticket since over 3 years.

same here ticket are ruff on insurance. i've been in more accidents then i can count. 4 of them while i was driving and enough speeding tickets to last me a life time. But u learn from ur mistakes and u gain the privlage of having cheap insurance

Id rather pay 1k in fines than have 2-4 points taken off. it is much cheaper in the long run.

both combined = ur screwed
I'm almost up there in both. I pay almost exactly the same for my car but not quite as much for insurance. Def does suck paying those 2 bills every month but the evo is worth it.

I also had a very very similar record except it was 2 cars and way too manys tickets, prob more than I currently am old when I was 17-18. But i've had a clean record for the last 5 years (knock on wood) but my insurance is still high. A) we're males, b) geography plays a huge role and c) you drive a sports car. My g/f;s insurance company was gonna jack up her premium just by moving over to the next town, because geographically there are higher premiums there. insurance is a pain in the ***. Can't wait to turn 25 so I can get that lower premium.
