i think its more of like a thing like, ok evo= fast and the furious, and trans am= dads olde sports car. its a hell of alot for say a NA supra compared to a lancer, the supra is more just because its a supra. basically any "cool" cars will be expensive
i love it how everybody sterotypes people like this...its like guilty until proven innocent....i know a guy who owned an evo at 16 and he has yet to wreck it...let alone put even a scratch on it

I'm 17 and have an evo.

I havn't wrecked it, or gotten a single ticket. I've only had it a month though.

Previously, I've had a scion tc since I turned 16.

No accidents, no tickets, nada.

Must be nice lol. 2 new cars by 17.
And 500 doesn't seem too crazy. 16+Evo=High liability to any insurance company.

i promise bro. call your local ensurance company.. ask them. for a 16yd male.. its gonna be close to 500 if not more.

if your 16, i dont think your ready for an evo, wait a couple years.. get an eclipse or somthing to keep you tied down untill then, there great cars =]

insurance all comes down to numbers and the area you live in. and in insurance case the number is how many accidents with a specific vehicle and the area you live in ( your area code) but seeing how evolutions are involved in more accidents because young people drive them carelessly and wreck them you will end up paying more for insurance than if you were to get a corvette because most older poeple drive corvettes so the number of accidents are less for that vehicle type.

check with an insurance agent if you want a price to go off of but dont expect it to be cheap.
