Thanks for the responses, even the negative ones. A little constructive criticism never hurt anyone. I will probably get another Evo, I jsut can't think of another car that will fill the void. I doubt I will do a part out. I don't have the time or space to buy the car back and tear it apart. Sounds like the insurance company absolutely will not go by blue book value if they total it. Instead they will go by fair market value. That is good because almost everyone around here asks too much for their Evos, thus raising the FMV.

Damn that sucks! This is my biggest fear, wrecking the EVO. I just got it and love it!!!!
