Bye bye

My car is toast. Long story short: Was being tailgated on a rural road, decided to go WOT on a straight away to get them off my ***, came to the end of straight and found out snow tires + wet chip seal road = ****ty braking. Went straight off the road, cleared a ditch, hit and bounced over railroad tracks. It's heading to the body shop this morning. Anybody have any pointers for when I get there? I've never dealt with this kind of thing before and I don't want to get screwed over.

I'm fine. There is a lot more damage than I thought last night. The roof is wrinkled so it's got some major structural damage. Hopefully they'll total it.

The ditch I cleared. Nailed the tracks

Broken steering column

****ed wheel, probably took the majority of the impact

Debris field, notice the small dent in the tracks on the lower right. those things are solid

The turn

More roof wrinkles

glad you are ok.. make sure you learn from this man.. but in all honesty.. there will be shops saying they can repair it but you need to fight and tell them you dont want the car back.. the frame is definetly bent.. the oil came out of the motor as well so you might want to throw in that the car was makin some funky noises after the oil was emptied..

that wil help you get the car totalled.. live and learn man.. and dont be away from the evo seen too long.. hopefully by the time you get it all cleared up the X will be here and you will have more of a choice in what to buy.. hehe.. good luck with it all.. and aghain glad to see you are ok..

Or tap your brakes... then the moron pays for a JDM Evo IX rear bumper... instead of YOU wrecking your car.
