anyone with a Gtech?

well today i just picked up brand new gtech pro SS for dirt cheap. i couldnt pass the deal up, so i just bought it. my question is, im having a hard time getting it to read the RPM's.... it says on their site that on some cars its harder to read the rpms on then others. has anyone else had this problem? i think i could be doing something wrong to, i really didnt have much time to fool with it.

any suggestions?
thanks

i just went out and tried to program the RPM's and it wont read for some reason....

but i did do a quatermile run
i got 13.288 @108.64
had like a 2.3 60ft time (i just spun all through first and the beginning of second gear)
0-60 in 4.6 sec
273 hp
and it doesnt read my torque probably needs the RPMs to read torque

and i didnt beat on the car..
i just wanted to see if it worked, so i shifted real slow and didnt even try to launch it hard

im doing everything it says...
but it just doesnt reconize the RPM for some reason

also at the end, it asks me to rev the car and watch the rpms.... and i dont understand why it does this because once i hit okay, it just keeps the rpms on the meter where it told me to rev it......
hopefully someone can help me out

Used my brothers for a little while. RPMs were accurate. With the times, being on target with the weight is the what is important. That is what the meter bases it's numbers on.

Have you scrolled through the different rpm options (I believe there are 30) to see if one matches your actual rpms?

You might have to turn your headlights on to put more load on the electrical system.

Did you do what I suggested? I have one, this is what I had to do... Turn the lights on when you calibrate and every time you use it. That's all there is to it. It may flicker at idle but should be good once your revs climb above 1k.
