This is as blatant as i will put it.

Why the F do you think they make WINTER tires. You think tire companies are just trying to **** people? (They actually work!)

Go out and get some before you drive anymore

I was able to navigate from the office to my apartment last year during a mild snowstorm (1-2 inches, no ice) on the stock Advans. I laughed as I slowly puttered by a 'vette that couldn't get traction.

It's not worth it for me at all to buy snow tires up here. I'm pretty sure that one day was all the snow we got that winter. I'm not worried at all about the Evo's capability in the snow on any tires. What worries me the most is other people.

Great another dummy. Listen if you live someplace where it doesn't snow often in the winter sure rock the summer tires but I wouldn't do over 80 on them. If you have a truck and get a big snow fall don't drive the evo

These thread just get silly sometimes. To the OP; read the owner's manual and the caution concerning Advan's in low temperature. Your tires are sticky erasers in warm weather and hard rubber ski's in the winter. They are not approved for low temperature. (less than 35 degrees I recall). Even on COLD dry pavement your car's ability to corner is SUBSTANTIALLY reduced.

Either get snow or all season tires, park it or buy a 5 point harness. Thread closed.
