Why is it shady?

201 Motorsports has been waiting on its order longer than any of my retail customers have. Like I've said over and over again, your order is filled in the order it was placed...no exceptions. Unfortunately, this backorder has everyone including me going crazy. Check out the link JDMCT9MR posted above, it may very well be the answer we've all been looking for.

It took forever to get my orbital dash. I even ordered two from different vendors because one said they could get them sooner. Anyone buying these should expect to wait awhile

 

I hate threads like this. And there are always more then a hand full of the people that start them on ever forum.

i eneded up getting it through 201 just as it was quicker

 

so 201 motorsports is already sold out.. does anyone know when and where these are gonna be available again?

 

^ Orbital stopped accepting orders for them during the summer and are just shipping their last units, which took forever for them to do. Their intention was not to make any more of them due to them not selling as well as they had imagined, though they said they'd be willing to sell their designs to another manufacturer if interest arose.

Basically, they didn't make all sorts of money that they hoped for, and decided to sell just enough to break even then halt production according to their website.
