Early Fuel Cut???

I was getting on the highway this morning, I was in 4th going about 50, I noticed the highway was clear so I put the pedal to the floor. The car didnt pull at all and it hit fuel cut at about 6000 rpm!!! I shifted into 5th and the car felt like normal. I had no room to test it again but, what happened?

He definately didn't mention wether he got a tune or not but he would be foolish if he hadn't and wondered why it felt like he hit a brick wall when he got on it. If it isn't tuned or you got a bad tune, take it to a reputable tuner. There are a couple in jersey who do great jobs.

No tune yet... I had the car for about 5 months now and i was waiting to get cams and my friend to get his dyno put in to get a tune. This is the first time the car acted like this.

It doesn't always do it. Temperature and conditions have alot to do with it too. I had the same problem with similar mods to yours when I was untuned and it didn't happen until 6 months later but I did finally got a tune and it never happened again.

probably because it was pulling timing and running rich and your maxing out the fuelpump, def get a tune. shouldnt be hitting fuelcut with the 255

fuel

strangely the same thing happened to me when the weather changed. I do have a flash, but I think it was tuned at around 25psi. I am not comfortable with that much on pump so I tured the boost down to around 22psi. Needless to say its running rich. In addition, since it was so cold coupled with the tune not right, I hit fuel cut at around 5k in 4th gear.

And trust me this is not the last time it acted like this, unless you do get it tuned. That's it, closed thread

with MBC higher gear higher spike, higher load higher spike, cold weather higher spike. All you have to do is to put the Boost cut all columns to 319
