MSRP Dealer Listing
Wallace "incident"
I am familiar with the Bristol dealership, their showroom is a half-moon shaped aisle that is raised above the parking lot by a couple of feet. The offices are in a separate aisle and you can't really see them from the showroom floor very well. I visited it once and was there for well over 30 minutes but I never saw a single salesperson or staff members around (either they were unaware that I was looking at the cars or they were purposedly ignoring me, either way, it was kind of an unsupervised or poorly supervised area
). All four EVO's were parked inside the showroom with the keys in them. The red one was second in line and the black one was third in line.
Well, apparently on Thursday Sept. 25th, about 4PM est, some "punk" got inside the black one, cranked the car, revved the engine with the car in gear, and "popped" the clutch. The black car lunged forward, bumped into the rear of the red one and then it was deflected through the plate glass windows onto the grassy area below. The car then hit a light pole head on. The black one will supposedly need lots of work, the red one has "minor" bodywork in the rear.
Last I heard the white and blue were still intact and available, but they could be gone by now. I am not sure what will happen to the damaged vehicles.
Wallace Mitsu, please keep us posted if there are any more details.

Thanks Sevo, this almost sounds like an urban legend... but those pics are priceless, it woud be great to find out who the fool is that did this. He would be infamous in the performance world.

Got my EVO yesterday for $1k below MSRP ($29.2k), from Hayward Mitsubishi in Hayward, CA (San Francisco East Bay area).
Traded in my '01 Eclipse GT for a decent amount (considering how I've driven it
).
Possibly the dingiest-looking dealership I've seen so far but I'd say it was worth it. I have a feeling they don't sell a lot of EVOs; they had a couple on hand but had to trade with one of the other dealerships for mine. And when I showed up to pick it up, all the guys there were like, "Hey, you're the guy buying the EVO!"

I cant wait till some rebates come out for this bad boy, it might be a while but im sure they will come out. We have 6 sitting in our lot right now that have been there FOREVER!! Once a rebate comes out i am def going to get one! REBATE+MITSU EMPLOYEE DISCOUNT+ INVOICE PRICE =
THe Black one is being looked over by the body shop and insurance companies, so we will know what it can be sold for.
The Red one will be sold as well with the minor damage to the rear bumper, and sill reflect the damage in savings below invoice.
The White and Blue ones are still available at $28,000, which is as we all know well below invoice on a car with the Sunroof and the Spoiler.
We just aren't having large amounts of interest in this area, at least not from kids who won't drive them through windows!!!
Contact me with any questions or offers.

I bought my Evo at Heller Mitsubishi in Escondido for $30k flat with wing. Recently they drop their prices and are now selling their Evo with wing, leather seats & sun roof at close to that same price. Originally it was $36k...now down to just over $30...
