MSRP Dealer Listing
Thanks Josh. So are their any known loop holes to reduce the tax? What about a place of purchase with lower tax that might be worht a 1k - 1.5k savings. What if I had an address or residency in oregon and then moved elsewhere. It's usually what 90 days to get residency.

Hey Wrench...did you also notice how the guy told everybody where he bought the car? Much more credible then going on and on about how you helped a friend, or knew of a place, or how there flying saucers down at the port, or blah blah blah.
Hello Everyone... i go my evo 3 weeks ago from Puente Hills mitsubishi in Southern Cali for $27,500. Its white, and It included the High Spoiler and the sun roof. It also came with a sports package, with a shift knob, pedals, and God knows wut else.... I pre-paid 3 years of the Special Evo maintenance every 1500 miles for $500, a 6 year warranty on the car for $1,200, Low Jack for $500. So all total i spent about $29,700. I could've walked out of the dealer buying the car at $27,500, but i think the warranty, the 3 year pre paid service, and especially the low-jack is necessary and well worth its money.
I dont know if it this was a one-time deal, but i was lucky enough to get the manager when i called in, and he told me over the phone he would give it to me for $27,500. Anaheim Mitsubishi offered me $28,000 including tax and license... but they didnt have my color, and i think thats total Bull SHat, they were for sure drawing me in.
YOU GOTTA CALL AROUND.. MY DEALER WAS A HOUR AWAY FROM MY HOUSE!!! Its well worth the drive i tell you, especially when you're driving home in your new sick evo!!

I guess you need it spelled out for you: I named the dealer And the sales manager in this thread.
Let's move on.
Never said the price, whatever that is now, was not "doable".
Please notice how ku7484, ek9jdmhb, lucyevo, and many others have said: "I got my car from XYZ dealership for 123 price." End of story. Very clear for people. They can make the call. The buyer and the dealer can then say what they will.
You, on the other hand, despite numerous requests from both buyers and dealers, have never directly relayed that "XYZ dealership for 123 price". You speak of managers and dealerships having 44 evos, and other dealerships "willing to do that deal", but never specifically for which price, or with what options. You then leave options, and other sums like 1000 dollar rebates, out of your vehicle price calculations. This strategy allows you to bend your facts, and manipulate your numbers to suit when anyone calls you on your information. It's baloney, or bologna, no matter how you slice it up.
That's all. I'm done. Thanks.

$30,300 OTD from Rueben @ Santa Monica Mitsubishi.
Evo 8, cf wing, sportmeter kit installed, wheel locks, cargo tray.
Man you got a temper. Go ride that scooter of yours and blow off some steam.
There is that clear enough, or do you have something else to add that you think is useful for everyone else to read?
The meter kit is pretty cool and you can change the order of the gages around. This one was installed in this order: boost, then amp, then oil temp.
The dealer moved the stereo to the bottom position and the gages are up top with the boost gage closest to the driver.
The gages are pretty small though.
I would think oil pressure would be more important than oil temp, especially since there is a water temp gage standard.
This may be a question for another forum, but does anyone know why they'd do oil temp instead of pressure?

Check out this link. It's to the Mitsubishi Web site and it clarifies a lot of stuff.

I think to answer your question is there is the "sport meter Kit" which is the gage package, and there is the "sports pedal Kit" which is just the pedals.
Some of this stuff needs to be installed and some, like the sport meter kit, needs extra parts at an additional charge plus labor.
I quoted the sport meter kit through the parts departments from a few dealers as an after purchase and I was quoted parts and labor over $800 and you can get it for $650 or less at the time of purchase. I was told the pedals are tough to install as well as the parking brake, so make sure you negotiate the whole deal up front.
Also, some of the prices look like they have a high profit margin built in so you may get a better "package deal" on the whole car if you throw them into the mix.
Here's a cut and paste off of the web site:
6-CD In-dash Changer $ 486
Air Dam $ 231
Brake Cooling Air Guides $ 149
Car Cover - JDM $ 216
Cargo Net $ 29
Floor Mats $ 56
Door Sill Scuff Plate Kit $ 92
Sunshade $ 64
Strut Tower Brace - Front $ 422
Strut Tower Brace - Rear $ 385
Hyperground Cables $ 219
Instrument Cluster Surround $ 75
License Plate Frame $ 29
Nose Mask $ 147
Shift Knob $ 113
Parking Grip Brake $ 224 (plus labor)
Side Window Air Deflectors $ 84
Sports Meter Kit $ 464 (plus labor and parts)
Sports Pedal Set $ 76 (plus labor)
Wheel Locks $ 25
Add accessories(Notice they say nothing here about installation labor or additional parts) at the time of purchase and they'll not only be installed, but most are covered under a 3-year/36,000-mile limited warranty.
