MSRP Dealer Listing

By negotiating from a starting point slightly below INVOICE, you will get your best deal. If a dealer doesn't want to do this, just go to another dealer. If you end up paying within a few hundred of invoice, you got a good deal. However, good luck getting a dealer to sell below invoice.

evomadness......I'm just trying to help out some of these people that don't have a clue, but you sure are funny. Anyway, why don't you enlighten us with your superior wisdom. If I had to bet money, I'd say you're some lame *** car salesman.

Yes, I am a car salesman but am far from lame, but I really have no need to defend myself because your a multi-million dollar business owner and am better than me. Thanks for the post big shot
Evomadness, you sound angry. I've checked out a few of your posts. Are you on some sort of crusade? Why are you posting here instead of working the phones and "greeting" people?
A good sales rep knows how to deal with the objections of their customers with out insulting them. How do you deal with "your price is too high and you're selling the same car as everyone else? or Why should I pay you more when I can get it for less?" Show us how good you are? I might be one of your potential customers as many of those reading these posts may be. Go read Tom Hopkins, Zig Ziggler, Harvey Mackey, even Tony Robbins. Don't dismiss this. Really.
Here's what I hear from your posts: I as a customer am wrong and should take your advice and disregard my life's personal experiences (and other posts here) simply because you sell for your uncle?
Go get a college degree in business and study accounting, econ (and if you did, why didn't you pay attention?), and have your uncle pimp up for some sales training. There are great courses companies like your uncle's can bring in that are patterned after the likes IBM and Xerox (American sales icons) sales training. They'll fix your negative attitude. A customer like me will drive to the end of the state before I'll smell your stink.
What's your secret? Do you run back and forth between you and your uncle conspiring to fool the next customer? What makes you so good? Why don't you tell us all where you work? I might have been one of your customers.... your name isn't...... nah, I better not.
Anyway genius, check the forum post's and you'll see guys are already buying for a ton less than you say they can. According to you though, they are probably lying.
One last point, and I am sure once you sort yourself out you are really nice guy and I'm sorry if I'm a little rough on you, but you need to know, you can't talk to people like this and expect them to hear your point.
Anyway, here's mine in a nut shell if you are stil listening. Some people buy based only on service, that would be your situation, some people buy based on service and price, that would be most of us here. And some people buy solely on price and there isn't a damned thing you or any sales rep in their right mind can do about. That last one is a good chunk of us. Don't argue with the last group. You are wasting your time!
BTW, did you pick that name because you are mad?
Man, this reminds me of Jim Rome....... .

Hey All,
Finally test drove one today. While I feel the car is simply phenomenal I cannot believe the attitude I've been getting from the dealers. I even had one dealer tell me via e-mail that "invoice would not cut it on the evo" and that theirs had a leather interior.
????
Funny. I see no listing anywhere on the Mitsubishi build page for a leather interior. It seems a lot of dealers are sitting on 30+ 2003 units, and for some odd reason don't seem to realize it is almost 2004.
Has anyone used a broker?

He was probably looking at the RallyArt and got it mixed up with an Evo. It's got leather seats. They might have even swapped them. This is probably what they'll do for '04 on the Evos for the "leather" seating.

Wrench....don't give up. I'm sure, at this point in the year, you will find a dealer who will sell an EVO at invoice price. You might have to drive for it, but it would be worth it. Getting below invoice though.....I don't know???? Good luck!
I recently bought at almost invoice. 28,000 for a blue Evo w/ CF spoiler but w/o sunroof. Williamson Mitsubishi here in Lincoln, NE however was, probably still is selling Evolutions with both for $27,995. I HIGHLY recommend them as they are very friendly before and even after I bought from another dealer. They have Red & Yellow left... talk to Bob Fowler there... he's a good guy!
Thanks, I won't. Half of the fun is the hunt. It's all about being in the right place at the right time with a fist full of $.
If I don't find an '03 at a good price, I'll wait for an '04. They all depreciate at the same rate.

But your advice is very good. Thanks!
Hey everybody. I just picked up my 03' BBY Evo last week and I got a great price. For anyone here in South Florida, I went to Coconut Creek Mitsu and the best price they would give me is 27,600 fully loaded (sunroof & cf spoiler). Then I went over to Bill Seidle Mitsu and the beat that price and gave it to me for 27,200 (w/sunroof & cf spoiler). Really nice people and a good car buying experience, and I highly reccommend them.
