I picked up my Blue by You EVO at the end of August for Invoice (it helped by being end of the month and paying cash). It had the small spoiler and sunroof. It took some haggling over the price (about 2 hours!), but was worth it! The dealer was in Concord, CA and gets my recommendation.

I had a bad experience with the Stevens Creek dealer in Santa Clara. They lied to me over the phone saying they had a blue car in stock. I drove down to buy it, but then they admitted it was actually 400 miles away in LA!

Why must the order be made by November 6th? some allocation rule?

I always wondered why dealerships market that a deal "absolutely ends" on a certain date, then either says the same thing the following week, or drops the price even further.

I apologize in advance if I sound like a troll.

 

I thought I was being clear and upfront. I have 1 EVO that I get to spec out, but my order deadline is 5:00 CST if I don't change my order on the EVO by that time they will send it to me how THEY (Mitsubishi) want to send it to me. OBVIOUSLY if my order deadline is Thursday @ 5:00 I CAN NOT ORDER EXACTLY HOW YOU WOULD WANT IT ON FRIDAY, therefore my offer to order the car TO YOUR SPECS ENDS @ 3:00. I have NO MORE EVO's coming after this so I GUARANTEE you WILL NOT see this offer AGAIN!!

 

If you have been considering this car, please take this guy up on his offer. I fought it for months because I didn't believe it could be that much fun. Mine is a week old today and this is the most fun car that I have had for the package that it is for the price!!! I just bought my EVO - paid $31007 out the door - that's $200 over invoice (high wing/sunroof). I paid $173 for the interior upgrades (knob/pedals/dash trim/net/sunroof shield) - they listed for $500 which is an absolute joke - didn't really care for them, but they're ok. The doc fee was $290 (probably a bit high). Tax was 5% here. I like my dealer and he got it shipped her >500 miles without additional charge (wanted a blue one), so I thought the price was fair (I would expect to pay invoice or slightly below for one off the lot).

Off topic - this free tire for life sounds like a steel on an EVO any comments? - I think you just get all your maintainence done at the dealership, and they buy same factory tires for you when you get to 2/32 inch tread.

 

Please post every detail on this free tire for life... Do they honor this every 7500 miles for new tires?
