Am i Alone ?

Is it just me or do the Recaros fall apart in the 03's? It seems like the majority that i've come accross have broken foam under the skins or their torn on the sides. Has anyone tried to get their seats replaced from Recaro or the dealer? No recalls or anything?

Mine hasn't. It seems to be wearing out a little on the side bolsters, but nothing severe. These seats are pretty expensive from the dealership. If you want to get new ones look for used ones here on the forums or buy aftermarkets.

Maybe i've just run into worn out seats, my seats were messed up when i bought my car. Every 03 that i looked at before i bought mine had problems with the seats. Well who cares, at least it doesn't effect the way it drives!

Yeah that wheel is annoying to adjust. WIsh it was a handle that you could just pull.

My seats are fine. But I make a point of not "slinding" into my seats.

85k miles on my 03 seats and no issues. In fact, I don't know anyone that has seats that look like crap.

Mine seats are showing the wear and tear from dealing with my robust backside for the last 4+ years.

Maybe I should lose some weight?

Mine isnt wearing too bad at 50k.....but the right side bolster on the upper portion...clicks and moves around. A while back people were having problems with pushing back to hard on the seat and having the inside support breaking.

japenese racing seats will not support fat americans for too long haha.

Yeah, but bad seats might affect the way you drive it.
