Maybe if I lived in the communist states of VA or C I'd be different. Sucks you cant drive your cars around without being profiled.

 

Yes I pulled mine off and got a lot less attention from police...but I'm 21 also that doesn't help. I like the attention from all the rednecks and haters though so I put a CF trunk on and they still pay attention which is nice and the cops think it's just a black trunk and I couldn't afford a regular one so they leave me alone

 

Always keeping mine on. Sure they look but why would they pull me over? I don't speed and the car is all stock. well that's just me..

 

When I took mine off to re-clear it, I got pulled over WTF? that's what I get for speeding though lol

 

Wingless does = less attention. I just replaced my wing with rexpeed's type-c, which fits in the same hole. Usually people like to stare at my brembos in stoplights.

 

in my area u got more stare with EVO w/o wing..i tried and done that i even have the lancer RA wing for my EVO with that LED brakelight on it

 

I don't think it much matters. I like the wingless look and mine is wingless, but I still get pulled over for totally bunk reasons. Cops just like to check out kids in fast cars. ::

I got alot less attention from the ricers and rednecks with my wing gone. I put a rexpeed on in its place. I liked the car with the wing, but love it with out. I hated sitting at every stop light with some idiot revving at me.

 

I guess Im fourtunate to live in NC, No one cares

 

I actually feel a bit embarrassed sitting at a light with my car and the wing. I always notice people looking at it through the mirror. The hood on my car doesn't help with it either.

 

I love the look with the wing.

I could care less what others think or do they have no control over me as a person. The only time I have been pulled over in the 2 years I have owned my evo is when I was at fault and speeding.

Other than that most cops here either do not know what the car is or just think it is some 4 door with a big fancy wing to get aattention. Then again most people just consider my car just another "rice burner".

 

I didnt like how the wing bounces light around in your rear view at night from taller cars

 

cops are real asses about that kind of stuff
