Didnt some of the early Evos come with an optional low wing? Any pics of one?

I wondered that too because I have seen quite a few with it on. I would personally either have the real one or none at all.

^ I agree but with the twist that the wing is functional. Unfortunately most people aren't REALLY putting it to good use.

No matter how you slice it .... the EVO 7/8/9 is gonna look angry and pissed off with or without the wing. Simply pulling the wing may draw less attention when its parked in a parking lot but once moving ... the aggressive looks are hard to miss.

The people that don't appreciate the wing are the same ones that think fart can exhausts, aggressive camber, and a harness bar are useless.

Harness bars aren't useless Jeff, they are dangerous

The wing is the only part of the 8/9 Evos I can't stand the look of... but then again, I'm more interested in what's UNDER the sheet metal. Hell, who am I to talk about fashion, I'd still be wearing denim shorts if the wife would let me

Well if you do decide to pull the wing.... don't do it unless you plan to fix the holes.

There's nothing more ghetto than an EVO with holes in the trunk (or some kind of sticky covering those holes).

Either get a lancer trunk or have the body work done to present a nice clean RS look.

I think the main reason ... most CF trunks don't fit or line up well. I've seen some with gaps wider than porno star after a DP scene.

If you have taken off the wing, have you noticed less attention? I think it kind of looks like another jap econo car without the wing. I do love the look of that big sucker out back though.
It absolutely removes attention.

Just put mine back on only to get moved into a more "high profile" position in my Gov't job... so back off it comes. I'll need to do a little something to clean it up too.

BTW, went a couple years without attention with the wing off. Been pulled over three times in less than three months since it went back on. Once for ONLY 5 mph over the limit. MUCH, MUCH less attention without the wing. Big exhaust/black wheels and all.
