There isn't even a payment method or real listing of the mods. If you email him he will tell you to put it in an escrow account or western union probably. Other ones to look for is if they just have their preferred payment as cashiers check.

An RS with ABS, power windows, power locks, and cruise control?

I bet there's some bit of legit-ness to this, though.

10 bucks says he missed the 4-5 shift and instead went into 3rd, over-revving and blowing the motor while at the same time destroying the transmission.

I'd say its a scam. 1. Evo's don't have cruise control 2. Rs's don't have power windows/locks 3. Rs's don't have abs.

The part about the listed options isn't what makes me think it's a scam. RS's don't come with a lot of things, but this RS has color matched mirrors, a stereo installed, and lots of other things done to it. In fact, that looks like the ABS control board on the firewall on the passenger's side. Also, what's that inside the cab where you'd find the headlamp height adjust switch?

PS: Polished compressor housing and anti-lag ports?

More than likely it's a scam. Like others have said, it's WAY too cheap, especially for an '05 Evo with less than 12k miles. And the pictures are so general, normally people would post a pic of the instrument panel with everything on so you can see that the mileage matches. Plus the part in the description where it says "Buy it now for $8000 etc. etc." is an image rather than actual text. Sounds like they have that picture ready for other auctions.

Its an RS since no ABS in it. you can see in the engine bay picture. But they put some extra stuff in it. Wich is not hard since everything is prewired.
But i say still its a scam, even thought that is an RS....

I don't think it's an RS. Look at the side mirrors...although then again the roof trim is black. +1 to this being a scam. Then again, maybe this is an MR-J?
