Question about mods to '06 MR

i just bought a 2006 MR with minor mods. It has cold air intake with green cone filter, and custom catback exhaust.
how will the dealer look at this? will they void my warranty if I come in for repairs? should I remove and put all stock parts, it so that they dont see it?
THANKS

put on the stock intake
but you shouldnt have to worry about the exhaust as long as its only a cat back

+1 on dealer. It really just depends. When you bring the car in for warranty work the mod in question it supposed to be directly related to the part thats broken. For example an intake or exhaust shouldn't effect the warranty on the suspension, but most dealerships will void it all no matter what.

I'd put the stock air box back on. Not just for warranty work, but to make your car run better. There's no good reason to ditch the stock air box until you are well above 400WHP or running speed density for air metering.

thanks for the advice guys.
next question - the car is very loud, even at idle. Is it the intake or exhaust thats causing it, or both ? I dont have the stock parts, as the previous owner didnt keep it. So if I was to put the stock parts back, which one should I get, the intake or exhaust??
THANKS

Stock intake will only quiet down the car to a degree. You'll hear the turbo spool less (less sucking noise on acceleration). The stock exhaust is the part you should look for to make it quiet. Look around in the private for sale regionals for a stock exhaust. You won't have to look for very long. Also, lots of performance shops in your area that deal specifically with the Evo might be able to help you out by hooking you up with the stock exhaust off of a customer's car.
