The other posters are correct, they can not deny warranty coverage regardless of any records kept for maintaince. They will try and void it with any modifications that have been done. It is hard to believe that the only mod you have is an air filter, but put your stock air filter back on and go back with your father. I'm sure they will warranty your diff or tc at that point.

Tell them you're willing to make a deal with them since your warranty is almost finished. Say that if they give you the parts, you'll install it yourself. Then, take your brand new transfer case to Shep.
