I had something similar happen to me also. But I let the guy hit me since I knew hitting a curb on my own would be considered my fault. She lady caused 17k in damage and im still waiting for my evo 9 mr to come out the shop but ill have next week with a gt35r installed. im excited!

ok update!!!!....i went to the claims department for allstate today and they took a look at the cosmetic damage and it totaled to $1,003....out of that i have to pay $423.....the $1003 does not include the actual alignment and balancing or any of the actual mechanical stuff....so i have to take it to the dealership tomorrow and anything that is broken/messed up/ or that needs correction will be billed to allstate.....how does this sound??? did they do a good job should i have not filled it??? opinions greatly appreciated

So insurance is only giving you roughly $500 to cover the damage, huh?
Are your rims going to be repaired or is that $1,003 estimate including the complete replacement of both rims?
If they're going to repair them and you have to pay over $400 out of your own pocket and you still have to pay for an alignment / tire work, you're getting ripped off. You'll spend about $100-$150 on a 4 wheel alignment (that is nothing is bent or needs replacing) and another $25-$40 on tire unmounting / mounting / balancing.

yeah they are going to be repaired but it wasnt just the rims i noticed i had scratches on my front bumper and my lower lip was unattached on my right side so they are going to change all of that, and no all i have to pay is $423....the rest is covered by them...any alignment, balancing, tie rod inspections, etc is covered by the insurace
