Almost 2 grand for 30whp? Thats up for you to decide. If you're going to spend 2 grand on a turbo only, might as well go alil more for a larger more efficient unit.

Don't know about the hks specs but on the cosi at .050" lift intake 255* and .050 lift on exhaust 225*(not 100% sure). valve lift is 11mm on but intake and exhaust.

What kind of horsepower can be expected from these cams? Does one provide more power than the other?

My mods consist of Cobb AP, Cobb TBE w/ HFC, Megan o2 housing, Cobb Air filter, HKS 272 Cams, ARP Headstuds, AMS Intercooler and LICP, Walboro 255.

Tune is set at 22 psi.

The first plot was with all the parts installed prior to the tune, and then the higher one is obviously the numbers after the tune...tune gained about 75whp @ X on graph #2.

I would pass on the HKS. No one uses them, lift is relatively low. More power can be extracted using Cosworth M2's.

We have COSWORTH units in stock ready to ship same day as order and at the best pricing available.
+1 on this one...

the exact same results i have found while tuning...

cosworth make more power and torque than the S1's and more power and a bit more torque than the HKS cams. They just arent as aggressive. All the cars that i have tuned them in do not have upgraded valvetrain either, we only rev to 7k or so while tuning.

you pretty much cant go wrong with these cams when it comes to output results

Hey man, how high do you rev your Cossie's? You still have the stock springs and retainers? The cost of having to install spings and retainers is the only thing keeping me away from the M2 cams right now.
