Lol at the responses in here, have you ever stopped to think that it's this "evo is a gift from god" attitude that pisses people off? I highly doubt that someone driving a BMW sportscar is going to be jealous of an evo.

 

I've never got any hate in San Antonio, I even get thumbs up from sti owners. when I go to the border and cross into Piedras Mexico I get a compliment every half block. The hater attitude must be a regional thing.

 

I guess so- All the WRXs and STis and even SRT4s throw up the deuce when we ride by, I understand the American V8 hate. But WTF did we do to BMW? Next time I get that **** I am going to follow that bish and tazer them!!!

Why didn't you ask him what it was all about? That's what I do. I find out if they think they know me, or if they're wanting to race, or what. Usually guys who flip you off in traffic like that will say "dude, your car sucks. I bet it's slow." or something like that just trying to get you to race. Just find out where he lives and then go bang his mom if it pisses you off so bad. Seriously, there's nothing that'll make a man more pissed off than knowing your goo was all over his mom's face. Especially when she tries to give him a kiss next Christmas.

 

Also, don't BMW owners usually flip each other off? Kinda like the Jeep wave, but only with one finger?

 

#1 since when is driving regular minding your own business saying "evo is gods gift to mankind?"
#2 yes someone with a more expensive car can be jealous of you in an evo. Because the evo is a lot cheaper to buy and just as fast or can be with little money invested.

 

I was referring to all the "he's just mad cause his car is slow" comments. I know this may come as a shock to people, but not everyone cares about having a fast car. Why would someone driving a car worth thousands more than an evo be jealous? That's like saying someone who's eating fillet mignon is jealous of the people in McDonalds. If he really wanted an evo, he'd go and buy an evo. Some people really need to get over themselves before they go giving evos a bad name.

 

To tell the truth, I really don't care about the car being fast. I know it is, but I know driving fast is a great way to get insurance jacked up, loss of license, a well-paid attourney, and so on.

I just don't get why when I am minding my own business, driving one way down a road with noone behind or in front of me and some douchebag makes it a point to get my attention by flashing his lights then give me the bird. He wasn't even going in my own direction, I was going east and he was going west.
