Yea I'm lucky because I live in New Hampshire.

I don't get any of that stuff from people because 90 percent of the people in New Hampshire don't even know what an Evo is....lol

 

Why do you let a stranger who obviously has his own problems bring you down?

 

Maybe you are showing your jealousy that you have a 4 door sedan instead of a good looking sports car?

Many Evo guys are the same way. I was test driving a Shelby GT with my mom and some dumbass in an Evo drove by us and blew off his rediculously loud BOV right next to my mom's ear. Such a tool.

 

I don't get messed with that much, only the ricer civics and sometimes suv's, alot of people still ask me what kind of car it is, my town is small. there is one other evo in town besides mine, and alot of times people don't give me a second glance.

 

A) He just lost to an EVO on that same day or previously.
B) He thinks your some "riced-out" Accord.
C) Jealousy
D) PMSing
E) All of the above.

 

Funny thing, this past saturday, this guy in an Sti rode up right next to me on RT18 and between you guys and I, I was thinking, sh!@, that car looks pretty sweet but "F" him, I'm not going to pay attention because he's just going to gun his engine at me, well, he catches up to me just to tell me that my car looks pretty cool. 30 minutes later a kid in a black WRX, wasn't as nice. LOL.

Moral of this story, some dudes are jerks, and some are cool, but our cars attract all kinds of attention, allllllllllllll kinds.

BTW- some of the previous posts are freaken hilarious. The "convertible" comment had me cracking up for a bit.

? The evo isn't the first car to use a turbo so I have no idea where the basis for this is. There was life before the 4G63 and there will be life long after it is forgotten.

 

I ran across a stock looking STi the other day who was pulling out on to the street I was driving on. As I got closer to him, I noticed he was looking at me so I waved. What did he do? He pulled out in front of me, causing me to have to swerve in order to miss him. He only pulled out just enough to put his front end in the road, then came to a stop again. I slammed on the brakes after I had passed to wait for him to pull out into traffic so that I could see what his problem was, but unfortunately he was pulling out to go the other direction.

 

Maybe he thought you were waving him in.

yes it was. But the 4G63T engine was one of the first with 2l /actually less/ engine wich is put some red color on the V8 guys face, in the states...
Some articles even mentioned it...

I was doing almost 50 MPH at the time. I damn near wrecked because I had to swerve hard while driving on Blizzaks (dry road). I seriously doubt he thought I was waving him in.
