Someone please explain to me what exactly did we do, as evo owners, to p!ss every other sports car enthusiast off? I want to know.

I work in a small town, with the main road in front of the building. I went to Lowes during my break and on the way back, a dude in a convertible E46 M3 who was going the other direction flashed his lights at me and gave me the finger!!

I was dumbfounded. I didn't swerve into his lane, or cut him off, or do anything to cause a "road rage" reaction. I was simply driving my car, and he was driving his in the other direction. Must be jealousy- I have respect for all sports cars out there but for someone to give me the finger without knowing me makes me kinda mad. Let's over look the fact that his car is slower than mine, and that a convertible is the fastest way for a man to look like a c*ck.

Is it just me in my corner of the US or does everyone have this problem? I want to hear your stories of people reacting completely unrationally about your car.

 

I laughed out loud at this. Never been a huge fan of convertibles myself.

In this case I doubt it's envy since his car costs significantly more and could have just purchased an evo...People will always pull stupid **** but what really matters is how you respond to it all. Screw that; bust out the 12 gauge!

 

I swear every M3 convertible i run into does the same thing to me! Hella negative toward da evo.

anyways, i dont have too many sports cars out here, theres more like...umm...lame ricey civics and pick-up trucks, but i do get s*** from pick-ups that always wanna race and stuff

 

dont let it get to you, he is just mad because he is broke for spending twice the $$$ for his car. its like driving from california to las vegas. On 1 side of the road you have smiley happy people, on the otherside you have frown faces flipping you off.

i get the same reaction when all those b*ll**** v8 domestic cars pull up to me while sitting at a lite.. i usually get the point and tap his buddy so they can both laugh at me and then give me the finger... so i usually just sit there unless it gets out of hand.. when that happens i usually hand them their *** on a silver platter and then slow down and roll down the window and ask them " what happened i thought you had a v8???" then laugh and roll off.. they probally sit there and say things like " ouch... that really hurt my pride.." lol!!!! but in any event i just say f*ck'em

 

they just mad cause they spent all that money to lose!

 

exactly it, there mad cuz of the price they spent... and they probably realize that your car gets more attention than theirs does and thats prob why they bought the bmr, to get ppl to look at em

I noticed the car was an attn grabber the first couple weeks I had the car, but now I dont get any. Dunno.
