Just manhandle it. Honestly, it will come off. The turbo oil and coolant lines are made to bend slightly. I went after mine with a pry bar. The right side is the hard side.

lmao.... manhandle it. well i wouldent do it that way too much as you bend and break an oil line from doing that constantly. There is a bracket screwed into the stock O2 housing that bolts it to the block of the car. if you dont remove this than manhandle-ing it would be useless. there is a howto on this if you just look around more. whenever i do this i disconnect all the lines and drain the oil just to make absolutely sure nothing happens especially if you have not don it on an evo before. The bolts will be hard to remove and more than likely break make sure to use plenty of pb blaster. Plan ahead plenty of time dont plan on finishing in an hour your first time thats for sure

These guys are right, use some muscle and it will come! Use plenty of PB Blaster, that stuff is great.

I had to remove the whole turbo/manifold/O2 housing because i had stripped one of the studs to the hotside and CANNOT get the freaking thing off, So while the whole things off im gonna do some mods. You CAN take the manifold off without even removing the O2 bracket to the block ive done it before. You have to slightly wedge the turbo foward to the front with a padded prybar of some sort while workinig the exhaust manifold foward. It helps to take the oil line to the turbo off from the block

You have to use an open wrench, you can't get a socket to go over an o2 sensor. Put some pb blaster or wd40 and let it sit 10 minutes you will get it off.

PB blaster and WD-40 should be stocked in your garage, sometimes it's the difference between removing a bolt and stripping it.

You need to remove the LICP thats on the turbo outlet side so that you can push the turbo down then pull out your exhaust manifold. As far as the 02 sensor tap the housing a little bit to break it loose.
