Buschur Test pipe - post install?

I just installed a BR Test pipe, and turned the car on holding my breath thinking "ok how loud is this going to be?" I know I am not loosing my mind. The test pipe is more quite at idle, lower rpms, pulling up to red lights, from inside the car that is. Standing out side it is a little louder - sounds very good! When you get on it though... it is a good bit louder, and sounds GREAT!

So has anyone else noticed this? My guess is the high flow cat creates more cabin noise that the TP.

well havening it sight throw should be higher dP. but i think this can be the way your ear hears things that it can be a diff pitch and sounds like this. Only really way to know is get a dP meter and test it.

There is no way that if all you did was change a HFC out for a test pipe that your exhaust and in-car noise levels decreased.

I know... but I swear there is not as much cabin noise. Trust me, living in Northern VA where the cops go out of their way to bust people. I pay close attention to things like this.

Now getting on it, over 4k, I can tell without question that is it a good bit louder.

When I put on my test pipe it was louder all the time. Idle, revs, high RPM, low RPM, WOT.... Sounds good though.

Is the Buschur TP resonated at all?

I THINK it is a straight cut pipe, but you own one so maybe you'd know.
