I have experience and experience with customer service gets you alot further than arguing petty things and making both of us look like fools to be fighting online. He has a shop that does installs and dyno tunes. I don't, I do something i enjoy and talk to anyone I've tuned and i can assure you theyre all happy. If someone has an issue or is looking for a more aggressive tune for another 10whp i have no problem tuning the car until they feel like their car is where it should be.

every ix with cams/meth @30 psi is going to hit 400whp on a dynojet.

For a moment, I thought AL was in the Turbotrix taking the video... Does the battery really gives 20whp?

There is allways a reason why we as people do things.

Looking at the Dyno Sheet posted, combined with the Video posted, I came up with the following, the Big Picture, if you will:

The Video was:
pre·med·i·tat·ed Function: adjective characterized by fully conscious willful intent and a measure of forethought and planning <premeditated murder>
The Video is attempting to mimic Al(Dynoflash). That is how Al does his Videos.
David Buschur also does some of his Videos in a similar way.

You can see in the Video how TT makes fun of the Mini-Battery from Buschur Racing and the way Al talks.

I conclude that this was an attempt imitate this Vendors, and some other 1ob·scure reason we have no way of knowing.

Results are therefore, : leading to no conclusion or definite result <inconclusive evidence> <an inconclusive argument>

He is one of the respectable tuners we have in this community that has impressed many customers with his service. The Evo community has had a lot of breakthroughs this past 2 years and frankly you were nowhere to be found. You talk like you are one of the top dogs around but what exactly have you accomplished. Stalked up to companies like Buschur racing, ETS and Forced performance you can't be compared to. You have tried making cams and turbo kits but fails. Nobody runs your parts like they do on these guys. You do not do any testing in order to help the community nor answer any questions people have. Only time I ever see you guys post is when you have a dyno thread and it is always abnormally high.

To the OP and others calling everyone haters then get with it. These aren't newbs doubting a crazy number. It is a given that 400whp on stock turbo and 93 is not happening without a 2.3. I am one who is trying to hit that number but I have a **** load of parts waiting to go in to do so. My car is a freak. Period. Cammed cars make what I make. If I cammed my car I wont hit 400whp and I have the ability to tweak my car. Turbotrix wont tweak a customers car because they dont know how they drive and a shop will always be on the conservative side. On top of my car being a freak I am adding a built head, JUN cams, external wastegate and a lot longer seat time from my tuner then i'm sure turbotrix put in your car.

Take the car to another dyno because saying you hit 400whp on low boost and minor bolt ons is ridiculous. You were probably a 330whp car to begin with. You lack a manifold and 02 housing that makes pretty good power and torque needed to accomplish that.

Also to repeat myself. Please don't come on here trying to break a record goal with an inflated dyno. You guys cannot defend this and everyone who knows what they are looking at can tell its bull****.

Give me a ****in break...

just cause he tunes with opensource software and a tactrix cable doesn't make him a credible tuner?

I guess he would only be viable to you if he was using $10000.00 software and tuning in morse code...

You are all just old ****s that think because you can use computer programs written by man, that no one else can do it.

dont people understand that the numbers in that graph are uncorrected numbers, im sure it would have lost 20hp being SAE corrected. They power seems right on for that car. evo 9's are the **** quit giving Turbotrix a hard time guys..

Please elaborate as to what breakthroughs in the last two years .. ? Did they invent the turbo ? .. at a loss with that comment ..

As far as what i've accomplished..

Read my sig below.. First evo in the 10's .. first in the 9's ... We have customers running 9.1 ...

Held the fastest and quickest record for two years

We have been in sema mulitple times with act , exedy

Our evo has been on the cover of three import mags

We were featured on G4 television

We do staged upgrades for mitsubishi .. sold only through them , and financed at dealerships

Our subby , is in next months exedy add .. out on stands soon.


We have sold over 100 of our turbokits, and couldnt mass produce our cams.. Yet brandon went 10.0 on a full weight evo with them ..

Do your research before posting what we've accomplished .... What has your "tuner" accomplished

Why is it that other EVO ST IX's with more mods and leaner afrs.. even on a dynojet don't put down more than what this IX is putting down.. with less mods and richer afrs..??

Is it fair to say its the slightly high comp. pistons and cold weather the result of this.. and what gives with the 1.00 correction factor, so your telling us you have absolutely no control over the correction factor on your own dyno..?? what's the explanation MR TUNERS, elaborate and teach us.. because of my minute experience and overall research I've done. I find these results Hard to believe, but am open to learn as to why..!!

18psi and still making 400.. looks like i need to turn it down a bit..!!

Thats great for you guys but that benefits nobody in this community. There many fast evo's. A bunch of them in the 9's. But 9's are last year. 8's are the new thing and you have yet to do it. As the breakthroughs I speak of is part variations and turbo selections. The green, soon red and HTA turbo's that forced performance. Buschur and ETS for trying as many variations of turbo set ups in order to find out what works well with our cars. It is easy to slap a large turbo on a car and run quick times. You made a cookie cutter design manifold and you talk like you invented the wheel. These companies also do part comparisons. You do not. Don't come on here thinking you are one of the top dogs. Don't act like building a 9 sec car is out of the ordinary. I have already done that myself.
