Am I crazy for buying a IX RS with 1450 miles now?
If your wife likes the X better have her pay the difference
-personally, the weight savings and slight stock vs stock performance isn't worth missing out on the amenities of a more loaded evo. A few mods later and a gsr is faster than an rs. The last few new cars I bought were manual everything so with the EVO I like having the exra toys like sunroof, power windows, keyless entry, adjustable hid's, etc.
You won't be disappointed with whatever you choose, but when in doubt, choose toys

IMO id go for the IX. It has extremly low miles and you can probably get it for a MUCH better price than the X. With the money saved you could get some power options back like others suggested and spend the other $ on performance mods.
Where is this IX RS at??? If it is in California, then let me know if you dont buy it because my friend is looking for an 06 Red RS. And he will buy it tomorrow if it is really only 27k. I think you should let me know where it is!!! : )
I saw this car 3 weeks ago...... ...just looked at from outside....never had chance to test drive..only downside is no radio..... I was gonna buy this car but had better deal someplace else.....
I am still 50/50 on spending 27k on a used RS, granted it's low mileage. I am very interested in the X's AYC, even though it is not making as much hp as a stock IX, and it seems like the 4b11 is underpowered from the factory too.
Keep the comments coming....I need some more in your face comments to pursuade me to get the RS....

lol, the RS isnt for everyone... but you cant use the "well put a few mods in a GSR, and its faster than the RS".... lol, doesnt help your cause... the RS is cheaper than the "GSR" to begin with, so having to put more money into an already more expensive car just to make it "faster" doesnt help someone to decide

one could also say, that with the money saved on buying the RS, they can invest more money into their car, and dollar for dollar womp on the "GSR" (provided they invested in parts wisely).. but by no means am i ******* the other models, i just have to comment when people say that

and again, it really isnt hard to find people selling full power window swaps... i got mine for free from someone turning their evo into a racecar

and as for a radio.... come on.....90% of people pull the stock crap radio out aqnd get a good one anyways, so why pay extra for it?

they're wired for the radio... pick up an oem from ebay or on here.. plugs right in!
and 27k isn't at all out of line for an RS that is super clean with that low mileage.. sometimes people forget that pricing is more determined off of supply and demand as opposed to original "sticker" price...
Mint 67 Camaro's are going for a bit more than the 3k they sold for new....

27k is way too much for an RS. You are better off buying an SE with 10k miles for 2k less. The RS doesn't have HIDs, an arm rest, or power windows and locks. Plan on putting an alarm in the car with keyless entry... have fun.
Don't forget about when it comes time to sell it. There are very few RS seekers. Much easier to sell a car with BBS, HID, and PWR options.
