So who else doesn't drive their EVOs?
But that's
so I digress....I had about 10K on my '05 MR (owned 2 years). Didn't let her see the snow or rain.
The thought of rust building up anywhere in my Evo gives me nightmares so it doesn't see any action in the rain or snow. I don't even wash the car often or the wheels ever because of my rustyphobia.
i feel the same way...i bought a 2008 sierra single cab 5.3 V8 vortec...i put on some nice 24"s on it and that thing is banging hot..yet a thousand times more comfortable than my evo...now that i am building my evo..i drive it on the weekends only..i take it out for a spin or two...race it...wash it..service it...and let it sit till the next race/meet/cruise or just a shot of boost...
i drove mine alot the first year i got it..i put on 26k miles in 12 months...however in the past 6 months..its only seen 3k miles...i like it this way...less service...and it makes me feel its fast again everytime i drive it...as opposed to getting used to the powerr...

Man some of you guys need to get rid of your evo's. Its just a CAR! You didn't buy a Ferrari or Lambo. I drive mine everyday, and zero problems as of thus far. It can't possibly be that hard to take care of it.
BTW, I have 4 cars on my insurance premium, 3 drivers for those cars, and have 12.5k miles on my 06 IX that I bought in may of last year.

I work in an area with people who can't parallel park. I see at least two cars get hit everyday. And I've had verbal exchanges with people who've hit my Evo one too many times.....
So I take the civic out most days instead.
for a beater with black bumpers.

DD mine since birth. 26K miles now and I freakin' love driving her! In my normal routine to school (20 miles roundtrip), I'm calm, but it's nice to have to option to open up once in a while.
Cars were ment to be driven. If I drive 25k a year, I'll retire her from DD at about 40-50K and keep her until 100K. This vehicle is to much better than my Nissan.

Mine has been pulled from daily driving chores, It's now just a weekend toy/hobby car. I still drive the **** out of it on the weekends.
Get out there drive these things and enjoy them, they aren't any fun just sitting in a garage!
