Looks right. It's an 03'. I wouldn't buy it without having it checked out first, but I bet the deal is legit.

Tempting... eBay... I don't know... Do a Carfax for sure. The guy does have 100% positive feedback, but only 15 sales/buys. I wouldn't do it. Also doesn't say if he would ship it to you. Detroit to FL is far, lots of things could go wrong.

What makes it seem fishy? How much do you expect an 03 to cost that is 5 model years old? Yeah, the mileage is great, and if it's NEVER BEEN MODDED (that's different than stock), then that's great, too. But, at most, 03s only go for low 20s anyway. In fact, they've been selling right around 20k for 2 years or more, so 19k doesn't seem special for being 5 years old. Hell, my 05 MR with 28k probably couldn't fetch more than 23-24k, if that.

True, there's a lot of Evo sellers who's asking prices are WAY higher than their worth, just go look in the for sale section of this site. I know someone trying to sell an '03 VIII with 60k miles for $24k. Now that it's 2008; 2003-2004 is starting to sound even older.

This looks like it could be a good deal and it has low miles. I'd send them a couple emails with a lot of questions and see how well they answer them. If they seem to know their stuff and sound like they know what they're talking about then I'd go check out the car if you're serious about buying it.

i thinking, today, an 03 with about 25-30k miles SHOULD go for about 20k...but most of the 03 owners think of there cars as just something else...

i'm sick of people putting their 03's with 40k miles for 22k...NEWSFLASH: YOUR CAR IS OLD AND ISN"T WORTH THAT MUCH ANYMORE

I'd Carfax it and take it to a reputable mechanic and body shop to ensure there is no frame damage.

i thought the year didn't really matter with cars and that as long as the miles were low the car is worth more.

w/ some accidents, the owner has really no other choice but to lower the price of the car, my buddy in kansas bought a evo 8 for around that price and that price, i think for this car, the average price would be around 22-23k and it's also an 03 but definately i think it's a good price, good buy
