Of all the mishaps that have happened this winter - this one takes the cake!

Your wheels got stolen in your own driveway in the middle of the night???

I thought my 2 breakins were terrible, but this one beats them easily!

Good Luck with the insurance claim!

That would seriously **** me off. I vote that you break the theif's legs when you find them. Because they have to know that it will be really easy to spot those wheels, they didnt come on everything.

theres a perfectly good reason for the blocks to be there. im not sure if i should put a how-to on stealing wheels but its much quicker than jacking up each side.
ive never stolen wheels btw ive been told how people do it with blocks.

Unreal! People have got to be absolutely nuts to sit in a mans driveway and rape his car!

2. You came on right away saying you are expecting $3000. Kinda seems suspicious.
I thought the exact same thing. I've never seen a theif be so careful not to damage a car they were stealing parts from.

I think the counter-point to make would be that given the proximity to the vehicle's owner you'd want to make as little noise as possible. Consequently this would mean being more careful.

This is true ... if there was more than one person on the scene, using blocks would probably be faster. The blocks don't point to fraud at all.

OP, I'm sorry that this happened to you ... I've had cars broken in to a few times and it always sucks. Never had wheels stolen though ...

someone tried jacking my wheels in my driveway with the car still on the ground. I didnt realize it till I drove outta my driveway to hear my passenger side wheels clunking with almost all the lug nuts off minus the locks (they musta been stupid) I live in like a private neighborhood too.
