Ok, I was down in fresno for a funeral and when I was gasing up. I was going to close my sunroof. So, as I closed it, it went up half way and just stopped. I was shocked. lol. Tried opening closing again but didn't work. So I manually pushed it back and closed it. Seems like a grip of cash to fix.

 

Did you check your fuse? Thats where I would look first.

there is a bulletin about the sunroofs on these. they tend to fail. u have to drop the headliner, take motor down. spin motor with it out so its all the way back. manually push the sunroof back. install motor. test it. do a search, im sure u can find a how to...

 

more work then its worth, just leave it closed

 

haha. well the fuse is good. And, I hear nothing but chocking when I push the button.

 

I noticed this, works 100% of the time to
if your closing the sunroof and at any point during the closing operation if you symontaniously close the rear windows, the sunroof will stop and then start to close. Try it, its really weird
why would mitsu do that?

 

^^^ oops I meant to say if your opening the sunroof, it will stop then close.
