Car Cover

I need a cover for my car, even though it sits in the garage i don't trust my dad walking around there and doing stuff.
I found this:
http://www.carcoversdirect.com/produ...TION_SE/214/3/
Did anyone ever use this one? or can someone recommend one, but it needs to be ding/dent proof.

Thank you.

I have the same type cover for my Camaro and I am very happy with it. It will protect the car from VERY minor dings and dents but your car will still be dented if another car door hits it.

I just want to protect it from minor dings, like someone leaning on it or dropping something light.

I have the OEM cover since my car sits outside 11 of the 12 months of the year. Good for heavy weather, it won't help much in hail though.

correct me if I am wrong here because this is just what I have been told: unless you want to clean it every time you take it out, the cover will end up scratching more than helping due to the dust/dirt you pick up just tooling around town.

park it sideways in the garage to keep your dad out!

lol. its funny you say that, i park the car very close to the wall so its very far from where he does his thing, but the more space i leave the more space he takes. He is doing some construction work in one of the apts. I really need to buy a house but NY is so expensive and the houses are junk.

i have a car cover for mine....i bought it at autozone it was like $70. I found the size for a regular lancer and bought the next size bigger to compensate for the wing and it worked great. As for the antenna i just unscrew it and throw it in the back seat......and car covers dont protect from door dings.. ASK me how I know ughhhh

I have the Covercraft Evolution 4 layer model that I bought on Amazon. Covercraft rates that model as the best for "dent/scratch" protection. The "Evolution" refers to the cloth they use, not the name of our cars. I bought it because my kids kept dragging their bikes out of the garage near my car.

Perfect fit -- fits tightly over the mirrors, rear wing, and even has a little "condom" that goes over the antenna.

It's usually about $175 on Amazon with free shipping. Not easy to find, search using covercraft lancer
