Stock Turbo Unite!

I wanted to start my own stock turbo thread on here to see where people are at and what they plan on doing.

If you have a stock turbo please post your supporting mods and your HP to the wheels. I want to see what people are getting out of their stocker turbo. I plan on upgrading mine sometime in the future, but lets see how long it will hold up.

Please post the mods that actually support Power/torque. All the other add ons are not required(i.e. gauges, strut bars, harnesses, etc, etc.) since they really don't play a part in power build.

I have not dynoed mine yet, but Im sure its NOT over 300. I dont have very many mods.

Mine are as followed:

Walbro fuel pump
Injen Upper/lower IC pipe/ Intake
Custom TBE/ Turbo XS Cat back
Jester Tuned/ laptop hook up and WOT runs(Whatever he did lol Ill trust him)

Soon to come:

280/280 cams
Injen IC Core
NX intercooler sprayer
more to come, im still planning

im sure this type of thread has already been started, but i wanted to start one for my reference.

im liking the idea behind your thread.

I dont have many mods, but I am planning on sticking with the stock turbo for a goo while as I DD my car, and dont want to run into reliability issues.
I have not run on the dyno yet, but plan to soon.

Mods are as follows:
full 3" turbo xs TBE
K&N drop-in
Buschur MBC
installing an ETS LICP this week

I also have a stock manifold I am going to be sending off to get ported, but am waiting to get a 10.5 hotside and an o2 housing. After that, I am looking at an ETS intercooler and UICP and MAF intake, cams, pump and injectors.

i obviously am not over 300 wheel, but hope to be soon

My stocker put down 307whp at 25 psi (100 oct) and 290whp at 22 psi (91 oct) on a Dyno Dynamics. This was on a slipping clutch so it could have made more. This dyno reads 15-18% lower than a Dynojet. So about 350ish on a Dynojet on my race gas map?

Supporting mods:
- HKS Hi-Power catback
- Skunk2 test pipe
- Tanabe down pipe
- Megan 02 housing
- Ported 9.8 hot side (basically a 10.5?)
- Ported exhaust manifold
- Greddy Vspec FMIC
- Dejon Tool MBC
- MR metal bov
- K&N drop in air filter
- Walbro fuel pump
- ARP head studs
- HKS 264/264 cams

Plan on getting a new clutch first. Then Green, 720cc, licp, and retune w/ 2 maps by summer or fall.

DC Sports heatwrapped downpipe/testpipe
HKS 30th Anniversary cat back exhaust
HKS 272 intake and exhaust camshafts
APS blow off valve
APS cold air intake
APS intercooler sprayer reservoir
Hallman Pro RX manual boost controller
Walbro 255 lph fuel pump
Buschur Racing ceramic coated SS tubular O2 housing
Buschur Racing Deluxe intercooler
Buschur Racing lower intercooler pipe
Buschur Racing ported single flapper 10.5cm^2 turbine housing
Buschur Racing ported & ceramic coated exhaust manifold
Dejon Tool upper intercooler pipe
Automotorsports (AMS) custom dyno tuned reflashed ECU

With this set up I put down 330whp and 333wtq on Atlantic Motorsports Dynomite Dyno. Boost peaked at 24psi on 93 octane and these numbers were with a tear in my LICP coupler big enough to put my pinky finger completely through. I hope to make over 340whp on the same dyno now that I got all the boost leaks fixed.

After rims and coilovers I plan to go back to the engine for an overhaul including a 20G-LT, meth, studs, BR upper and new lower pipe for IX turbo, intake, mini battery kit, and of course another custom tune. So I will have some stuff up for sale.

she looks a little naked right now though.

this thread turned out petty good, keep em coming. I see alot of well planned out builds, which is a must when dealing with the God of imports,.....

I forgot to add on mine:

megan header
megan o2 house
10.5 hotty.....

igo4bmx said this thread should be called 10.5 hotside turbos.......why is that? If it is a stock turbo.... it is a stock turbo. Stock means un modified original equiptment..........you could have a 9.8 hotside and still have a stock turbo....

Im trying to read all these and I am getting lost haha in all the mods.....
