"This isn't a car for the family. The ride and performance are so unfriendly for children, the little 'uns will be puking their guts up before you've even left the driveway."

-Top Gear
Typical Top Gear mis-statement = exaggerated to the Nth degree. My kids have never gotten sick in the Evo and it lopes at idle and has a catless 3" exhaust. In fact this goes to show that they know little about children. The truth is that most children love bumpy, rough, rides. When my son was a wee baby and colicky, I used to take him out in my Toyota truck with 35" mud terrain tires just to get him to go to sleep.. 2 blocks of whop whop whop whop and he was sleeping soundly (everytime).

I do the same thing too... lol my kid falls asleep within seconds after rolling in the evo with its obnoxious loud exhaust note.. I can rev all day and he stays still.. now coming into a red light.. he freaking gets fuzzy.. so i blip the throttle to calm his *** down..

The EVO is just as safe than any other car.. no reason to think were special..

I got a 7-month old baby girl, she has been in my evo since birth, no problems, when I got the kids I take it easy, even with those STI's and honda punks reving and trying to race, npw when I'm by myself, it's like the devil took over!

That settles it! Instead of replying on parental expertise and feedback from the family, entertainment-driven rhetorick is sure to point the way.

I guess it depends on how hard you drive and turn on corners. I would probably not put a baby in there due to the loudness of the car though.

Just install the seat properly. Have you ever heard of the Darwin awards?

Rev and be merry in spring
But to be careful
Baby and evo no no!
