Ferrari 360 vs Evo IX (not a kill story)
if you have an accountant looking after your finances, he should have advised you not to extend yourself that deeply without real collateral, glad to see that you're getting atleast something back though!
I've only driven the F1 version of the 360, but I gotta say I completely loved the throttle response and steering, while it is slower than the evo's, it's just as direct and tactile. The brake feel on the 360 really impressed me though, it doesn't so much move it just builds in presssure. I don't know about build quality, i'm sure it's got some costly issues, but the italian leather interior can't be compared to an evo.
I never got to track the 360, so i can only assume it's not an awful handler. But judging by the choice of "modifications" and amount of service needed on a 17k mile car, i'd say it's a safe bet it wasn't performing 100% for you.

I just want to give the OP some props for being true to what makes him happy instead of what seems to impress everyone.
I have a ton more respect for folks who have the resources and/or opourtunuity to drive all kinds of fancy machinery but choose to drive what actually makes them happy for whatever reason.
I watch some tool in Hong Kong try to do a burn-out in one, chirp and stall out, it did sound awsome though.

LOL! I wish i could figure bin that fast!
Could be. How was the shifting on the F1? The standard 6sp is not for quick shifts, thats for sure, the lever always gets hung up on the gate. If you take your time you are fine though.
Wow, i never expected responses like this. Just trying to suggest how strong the Evo is, in case anyone was wondering. I'll answer any questions you want. I've quoted some peeps and hopefully that will make everyone happy.
Side note: I dont think I have any pics of me and the car, but here are the pics that i took to sell it: Here

I lot people dont realize I have two AMG, and to top that off I love the Evo a lot more then both my 80k benzs
That's because benzes are heavy pigs. They may be expensive, but 360's are in another league as far as driver enjoyment goes imo.
Eficker is a damn good guy. Honest and great to deal with. We do not know his financial situation nor obligations, and we are not in any way entitled to this being any of our business. Nice to know the Evo stacks up! Good luck on the sale efick, hope it goes well.

I've known the guy for over a year now and vouch for him any day! hes helped me a few times tuning the car over logs & email and on the dyno.

True that... And I know someone mentioned that Erich's Evo is fairly decently prepped. But he's also a REALLY good driver, so not only does he drive them, but he knows how to. I've been on track with him many times.
at over 500hp and 3200lbs thats no pigalso both my benz together is close to 200k...not no 100k
But I do enjoy my evo a lot more, nothing beat AWD and Boost....N/A is just too boring
Some cars are works of art and not really performance machines. That's what I love about the Evo... it's a minimalist performance monster made out of a mass produced 4 door sedan... no art there. Artsie people may as well be driving a Fiero if their Ferrari can't keep up with a stock Evo.
