The reasons why I ask are:
1. Its never been done before or at least that I know of
2. I have all these stock parts left around from the evo.
3. Just throwing out a question to learn more about the 16g

Are you talking about an S2000 with a stock or built engine? If you are talking about a stock engine there is no way it will handle 25psi. I don't care if you are running C16. If you are referring to an S2000 with a built motor than that is a different story.

The smallest you'll want to go is either the GT2871 or 3071. I'd probably go with the 3071 given the 9k redline to reduce backpressure to take advantage of the F20C's high rpm flow; even if it doesn't hit 15 psi until 4k rpms, you still have another 5k rpms to play with. I think 15psi should be good for about 400whp.

i think it would be fine....if you dont want to spend 4-5k then i would do it to...i think it would be sweet to have a 35r evo and a 16g s2k

This is an interesting thread...

What if you bought a used 35R turbo for the S2K?

How about owning an S2000 with a GT35R and an Evo with a GT35R? Once we upgrade my wife's Evo that will be the muscle in our garage. LOL!

Offtopic but I checked out your turbo s2k and it looks real nice. The power is big for the boost and is still rising on the graph , that car should be very very fast

Thanks! I'd like to point out that that dyno graph you are referring to reflects a untuned car--the tuning was stopped at 7400 RPMs because of boost control issues. Those issues have been resolved and the car could be fully tuned to 8500 RPMs, and in doing so there is a fairly significant amount of power left untapped.

My S2000 weighs about 2400lbs and should be making around 550rwhp @ 13psi and 91 octane. I am having the motor fully built and will max out the 35R on C16 (should be over 700rwhp). Needless to say the car will be deep into the 9s. When that happens I'd love to line-up against the likes of DB and have some fun!

Here is a generic turbo mapping. Using 8800 rpm, 90 VE, 6 psi (pressure ratio), 2.2L. I calculate a pressure ratio of 1.408 and flow rate of 30.3lb/min.
Plotting these numbers on a 16g compressor map puts you off the map somewhere below 50% efficiency. 60% is minimum to shoot for.

come on man
common sense
the evo turbos are way way too small for the high flowing, high reving vtec heads.

honda vtec motors are much more efficent and have a much high VE than the 4g63

a gt30r size turbo should be the smallest turbo anyone should consider for a s2k
