Putting my evo turbo on a s2000?

Yeah crazy right? I posted this up on the s2k boards and they think the 16g is too small for the s2k. What do you guys think, if you were able to get a shop to machine a few parts could you put the evo turbo on a s2000? Would it be worth it?

There is no point just put a 30R on it 25psi on a s2000 would pull hard and good for 475whp on pump with supporting mods.

im just thinking out loud because say i was going to get a fp green or 30r on my evo, and since i have a s2k, i was thinking of something that would give my s2k close to 300 whp without having to spend 4-5 grand

Get a compressor map for the TD05HR-16G6-10.5T that im assuming you have, and plot your 2.0l out. that will tell you if it would work.

With 11.1 to 1 compression that im geussing that they have, you wont be able to run more then 5ish psi. I think the turbo can handle that.

too small

did a setup on my bro's 1.8 b and it started to run out of breath before breaking 300hp. S2ks breath so well to begin with, +1 on the 30r, dont choke it with a small turbo that will be pushing its efficiency.

also you will havto have a custom manifold made or make one yourself. And an Evo turbo aint the easiest thing to fit in the space you have.

Please explain to me how it can run out of breath on a 1.8 and still be suitable (relative term) for our 2.0's? Not meaning to be argumentative here, it just seems displacement is the factor in this conversation for determining what size turbo is necessary, and for our 2.0's they are good for up around 400 whp from everything I've read here. Only thing I can figure would be that the length of stroke was so much greater on your 1.8 that it ran out at higher RPM's, which is where honda's like to be anyway... is that basically whats being said here?

its called( Volumetric efficiency) or ve for short honda motors just are to efficient for that small turbo there heads flow really well it would spool up fast and be outta steam on a b18c so just think about it on a larger 2.2 motor

waste of money. the 16G would run out of air long before you even got close to S2000 redline

plus if you're gonna need a turbo manifold and why built it to run a dsm flange when you van have a t3/t4 flanged manifold for the future?
