Sup everyone.

Well WRX came in, and alot of the good stuff on the Japanese WRX didn't make it here, for cost or whatever reasons.

Just wondering, anyone knows (pretty positively) if all the good stuff from the EVO7 GSR (brembo brakes, recaro seats, momo steering wheel, etc.) will come in one piece when the EVO gets here? Or are we going to get a trimmed down EVO7 with equipment that's between GSR and RS? (SPEC-US) thanks guys!

 

I'll tell you honestly, no one has to many (if any) definites on what will come with the Evo. Heck, even stuff like HP, AYC, and ACD is up in there. Give it time. We'll no more. If you want, peek through more threads in this here Rumor Forum.

Well I know alot of things are still to-be-determined, but I really don't think AYC and ACD will be out. Those are the things that makes EVO 7 stand out from the other awd cars. Why would they go backwards? If they'll take those out then we'll be better off driving Evo V or something.

 

The reason why AYC and ACD might go is long term warranty issues, at least from what's been floated around. That and it may have to go to make room for a larger fuel tank. Once again, no one really knows.

I don't really care if we loose the AYC but, I do care about the ACD.

 

It doesnt really matter if AYC/ACD are included, does it?
The Evo 4/5/6 all have a mechanical viscous center diff and not an electronic ACD but we all know how well those cars handle.

The Impreza STi has an electronic center diff like the ACD but it still isnt as impressive as the Evo, although it is very close.

The only real definate that we know of right now is that it will have 250+hp....

everything else is pretty much up in the air, but I think we should be expecting something from Mitsu. pretty soon. We're creepin up on the 6 month mark.
