Clutch smell??

I think it is when I go hard on it on second gear. For example, when I hit it harder than I should, rpm went up to 6K pretty quick but I'm not going that quick. Then after that, I can smell the burn of clutch.

Yea it's slipping. Start looking for a new one.

It sounds like your clutch is slipping then. You may be getting back into the gas sooner than you should and then when you release the clutch it slips.

i have 44k on the clock with the stock clutch. I rarely launch the car, but when I do, the stock clutch is very slow to grab when I slip it. Other than that it holds throughout the powerband.

lol my burning money... my Evo drives fine. just need to stay away from hard acceleration.
