speedometer

My speedometer randomly stoped working, the vss is still pluged in everything works on the guage cluster except the speedometer and the fuses are all fine. My aem ems reads my vehicle speed and it seems to be correct where do i start to trouble shoot this.

Bad speed sensor I'd assume. You can't physically see a VSS going bad. If anything buy a replacement one .. If it doesn't work.. Return it! Does your tripometer / odometer still work? If not then its definitely the VSS. GL

check for voltage at the cluster from the wire that comes from the vss.
