i have a 2003 evo 8 and my speedometer and odometer + trip dont work.
i did nothing to my car. i was just driving down the highway. it started moving a little then dropped to 0mph and didnt work after that. i got a speed sensor A code . has anyone else had this proplem and fixed it before ? thanks.

 

Maybe check your speed sensor wiring or maybe you have a bad sensor. All that probably runs off your speed sensor.

 

+1 to the guy above. I accidentally forgot to plug in my speed sensor once and thats exactly what happened. I would focus your attention on that. It is right in front of your rear trans mount.

 

thanks guys. i ordered a new speed sensor. gonna put it in then go from there. i hope it fixes the problem!
