Aem wideband question??

those with aem wideband....what does it mean when the wideband constantly stays at 14.9 a/f and doesn't move or change no matter what...is that a electrical connection problem because i was working on the car alarm and might pull lose the aem wires...or could it be a bad wideband sensor??? i lost my manual so can't really troubleshoot it...

see if its plugged in, when its not it just stays at 14.9
if its plugged it, you need a new sensor....

the gauge its self doesnt go bad

In my case it was definitely the gauge. I bought a brand new sensor, checked all the wiring and everything was fine; still got the same out come. Purchased a new gauge it worked correctly. The gauges can def go bad, just like anything else that's electrical.

thanks guys..i found the problem..it wasn't the gauge or wideband sensor..it was something stupid that i over looked..i jacked the car up and the connector from sensor to gauge came apart...i guess it got stretched too much during driving...i ran more wire to under the car and zip tied it so it doesn't hit the ground and enough wire for play so it wont come apart in the future..thanks anyway...
