me too i have a black one and i just use it to kick beamer and s2000 a..s..s because they keep cutting infront of me while i am driving my daily 87' accord to work, payback

I have heard (but not confirmed) that about 1000 05 MR's, 1000 06 MR's, and about 500 06 MR SE's were brought to the US shores.

This was according to a source at my Mitsu dealer....so I am not sure how good this info is.

the MR SE is the rarest of the MR's for sure, but I think the IX RS is the rarest of the IX breed!

I'm really new into the Evolution world but so there is a significant difference between a 06 IX MR? and a 06 IX MR SE?

So the badging on the car says:

Lancer Evolution
MR SE?

cause i've never seen one with fog lights and what not. So if there are pics! LETS SEE THEM! haha and also 6spd as well?

 

No special badging, just says MR on the back, but yes it has fogs and the 6 speed. From what I've been told (and I've been told lots of things lol) they don't officially exist as an actual trim. It's basically just a few MR's that got the SE goodies as well.

Oh I see. Well I still haven't seen any Lancer Evolution IX MR SE on the streets... never seen any fogs on Evolutions.... hmmm pics anyone?

So when you guys brought IX back a few years ago... did you guys buy the IX MR w/ SE package or something?

 

FYI, I don't have a RS; I have a SE, None of this changes the facts; there are under 400 RS'. As this thread is about rarity, unlike '05, Mistsu sold as many MRs IX as it could, but I digress. When compared to the RS, the TB MS is (errrr...) common. Keep laughing and thinking that you've gotten a piece of your own. We can all dream.

 

Right. I think what's commonly referred to as the MR SE is actually the MR with "appearance package."
