WW problems with Evo IX?

Hey guys!

Long time...thinking about getting my third Evo here sometime in the next few months, and I'm pretty dead-set on a WW IX. I seem to recall while I was first looking at Evos a few years back that the early white cars had problems yellowing. Was this problem corrected with the new model? This car WILL need to last me at least 5 years, so I'm trying to cut down on things that will **** me off in the future, and I know I'd get pissed if my white car started to yellow.

Thanks for any input - and I am definitely looking forward to getting back in the game here sometime soon

I heard that about the 03 model. I have not heard anything about the 06s at all. I have a buddy who has a WW IX and has had it for almost 2 years and it looks fresh

goodluck to you mate

I have a WW IX, and there is no yellowing, just take care of it and you'll be fine (I also garage my car though..)

Sounds like that issue is bogus. I've not encountered any paint yellowing WW Evos, and my own 03 VIII is still white (although with the unfortunate stone chips we encounter with daily driver use during winter.)

Multi account anyone?
Ha, I think I made that account because I completely forgot my username and password, and forgot what email I used when I signed up. Trust me, this is the account I use and will use in the future. The other one can be deleted as far as I'm concerned.

And it's good to know this isn't an issue. I really love the looks of white Evos, but hearing those yellowing stories made me a bit nervous. OK, the search continues!
